Steven Alvarez, a 19-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on July 18, 2017, in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. while Alvarez was sitting in a dark-colored BMW sedan.
