Edgar C. Trammell, aged 51, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2017, in Oakland, California. The incident occurred during a robbery in East Oakland, where Trammell was fatally shot. The suspect, William Epting, a 50-year-old man with a history of violent crimes, was charged with Trammell's murder. Epting, who had two prior convictions for voluntary manslaughter, was accused of shooting Trammell and brandishing a firearm at other individuals during the robbery.
