Joachim Hanwright, a 46-year-old cinematographer and composer from San Francisco, was tragically shot and killed on August 24, 2017, in West Oakland, California. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Seventh Street, near Oakland's main post office.
