A 51-year-old man, Donald Ray Barnes, was shot and killed in New Orleans on Sunday, May 16, 2010. The shooting occurred in the 7th Ward, specifically in the 1900 block of Pauger Street. First District officers discovered Barnes after responding to a report of a shooting in that area. Known to his loved ones as 'Paw Paw,' Barnes was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
