Deputy Sheriff Robert Allan French, aged 52, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2017, in Sacramento, California. Deputy French was a dedicated member of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, serving for 21 years. On the day of his death, he was involved in an auto theft investigation at the Ramada Inn on Auburn Boulevard.
