Luis Alberto Fuentes Jr., a 22-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on October 16, 2017, in the Florence-Firestone area of South Los Angeles. According to reports, Fuentes was standing outside a liquor store near Graham Avenue and Firestone Boulevard around 4 p.m. when he and another young man were confronted by a Latino male in his early 20s.
