Oscar Alberto Felix, a 25-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 17, 2014, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the 600 block of North Fickett Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Felix was found on the front porch of a home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
