Raymond Barker, a 28-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on November 30, 2017. Barker was shot on the night of November 29, 2017, around 9:55 p.m., in the 7700 block of MacArthur Boulevard in East Oakland. He succumbed to his injuries early the next morning at 4:42 a.m. The circumstances surrounding his presence in that particular neighborhood remain unclear, as he lived in a different part of Oakland.
