Mitchell Richard, age 20, was shot and killed on September 24, 2010, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the Marigny neighborhood, which is located in the Eighth District of New Orleans. Law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire and arrived to find Richard suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries soon afterward.
