Jose Jesus Mendoza, a 22-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on April 8, 2018. Mendoza and Jessica Soria, 23, were found shot to death in the front yard of a home on Sterling Road in East Bakersfield. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, following a night out with friends. Mendoza had been watching a boxing match downtown before meeting up with Soria.
