Carlos Ramiro Venegas, aged 40, tragically lost his life on August 2, 2019, in Bakersfield, California. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Barlow Street, where Venegas was fatally shot in what was later determined to be a gang-related altercation. The confrontation that led to his death involved gang hand gestures, which escalated into violence. Venegas was pronounced dead at a local hospital, while another man involved in the incident sustained moderate injuries.
