Jaime Garcia Jr., a 29-year-old resident of Downey, California, tragically lost his life on June 30, 2018. The incident occurred at Rick's Motel located on Firestone Boulevard in Downey. Jaime and his younger brother, Ivan Garcia, aged 17, had driven to the motel that morning. An argument ensued between the brothers and a guest at the motel, Raymond Joseph Penland.
