Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of three men, all in their 30s, who had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The area was identified as a homeless encampment where the victims had been residing.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified one of the deceased as 34-year-old Brandon Lindsley, who died from a gunshot wound to the head. Another victim was identified as 37-year-old Arthur Sanchez, who succumbed to a gunshot wound to the torso. The identity of the third victim has not been publicly disclosed.
Downey Police have described the incident as isolated, indicating there is no ongoing threat to the surrounding community.
