Jose Antonio Fernandez Jr., a 30-year-old resident of Delano, California, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Delano police responded to a shots fired call on the 600 block of Clinton Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Fernandez with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kern County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity.
