Alaina Maria Housley, an 18-year-old freshman at Pepperdine University, tragically lost her life on November 7, 2018, during a mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California. Alaina was attending a college night event at the bar with friends when a gunman opened fire, resulting in the deaths of 12 people, including Alaina.
