Lajawn Cokley, a 34-year-old resident of Merced, California, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2019, in what was described as a violent home invasion. According to reports, the incident occurred just after midnight when Cokley answered a knock at his front door. Upon opening the door, he was confronted by armed suspects who immediately shot him.
