Derrick Prim, a 45-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on April 8, 2019. Prim was found dead from gunshot wounds in the 3200 block of Davis Street in the Fruitvale area of East Oakland. The discovery was made around 7:27 a.m., and authorities quickly identified him as a transient.
