Mario Garcia Jimenez, a 23-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, California, was tragically found dead on May 13, 2019. His body was discovered around 4:40 a.m. near the intersection of West Drive and Acoma Avenue. The initial investigation revealed that Jimenez had suffered gunshot wounds, leading authorities to classify his death as a homicide. This incident marked the first homicide in Desert Hot Springs for the year 2019.
