Leondra Malone, a 22-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, California, tragically lost his life in the early hours of January 1, 2015. The incident occurred just 24 minutes after the West Coast welcomed the new year. Malone was shot in the head in the 66-190 block of Calle Las Tiendas. Despite being rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
