Jose Wilson, a 29-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically killed on the night of July 2, 2019. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of 87th Avenue in East Oakland. Wilson was fatally shot at the scene, along with Rafael Cervantes, a 20-year-old from Antioch, who succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
