Death by Force

Darryll Reese, a 31-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was fatally shot on the night of July 26, 2019. The incident occurred around 10:56 p.m. near a gas station in the 10100 block of International Boulevard in East Oakland. Reese's death was one of two homicides that took place in East Oakland that night, with another man, Charles Billings, also being killed in a separate shooting earlier that morning.
