2 men sitting in car shot dead
On December 14, 2011, 27-year-old Terrance Barber Jr. was tragically shot and killed in New Orleans while sitting in a parked car with Jamal Phillips. The two men were inside a burgundy Buick Century on Annunciation Street when a group of gunmen in a black pickup truck opened fire on them. Barber was pronounced dead at the scene, while Phillips, who was in the driver’s seat, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
