Brian David Ishmael, a 37-year-old deputy with the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on October 23, 2019, in Somerset, California. Deputy Ishmael was responding to a call about a theft from a private marijuana garden in the rural Sierra Nevada foothills.
