Omar Montiel-Hernandez, an 18-year-old from Santa Barbara, California, tragically lost his life on January 3, 2021, in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 17-year-old Angel Castillo. The shooting occurred on Liberty Street near Canada Street in Santa Barbara's Eastside neighborhood. The incident left two other teenagers injured.
