Omar Montiel-Hernandez, an 18-year-old from Santa Barbara, California, tragically lost his life on January 3, 2021, in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 17-year-old Angel Castillo. The shooting occurred on Liberty Street near Canada Street in Santa Barbara's Eastside neighborhood. The incident left two other teenagers injured. The Santa Barbara Police Department, along with the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office, launched an extensive investigation into the case, which culminated in ...
