Marco Torrez, a 21-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, California, tragically lost his life on November 17, 2019. The incident occurred in the parking lot behind the "Super Liquor Store" located at the corner of Palm Drive and Buena Vista Avenue. Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 10:13 p.m. and found Torrez suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite the life-saving measures initiated by the responding officers, Torrez was pronounced dead at the scene.
