Mikie Sontero Tarango, a 41-year-old resident of West Covina, California, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2019. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the garage of his home located on the 1100 block of East Larkwood Street. Tarango was with his brother and a female friend when two men approached and began shooting. The assailants fired multiple rounds, striking all three individuals.
