Daniel Ruiz, a 22-year-old resident of Artesia, California, tragically lost his life on January 16, 2020. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. in the 11700 block of East 166th Street. Ruiz was fatally wounded by gunfire and subsequently succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
