On a Sunday evening in New Orleans, 18-year-old Rayshon Jynes, a Black male, was fatally wounded by gunfire on March 18, 2012. The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of D'Hemecourt Street, near the corner of South Scott Street.
