Timothy Jr. Russell, aged 32, was shot and killed on March 22, 2012, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His death occurred during a period when the city faced numerous incidents of violent crime, adding to the growing list of unsolved homicides. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) has continued to investigate this and other cases with the use of modern forensic methods, including DNA testing and fingerprint analysis, in an effort to solve cold cases.
