On September 29, 2013, 23-year-old Matthew George was shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 10:45 PM in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 1500 block of Southlawn Street in the Algiers neighborhood. Matthew was found with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite the passing years, the case remains unsolved. The motive behind the shooting is unclear, and no arrests have been made in connection with his death.
