Gus Bolanos Jr., a 30-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 31, 2020, in Wilmington, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 11:52 a.m. while Bolanos was seated in the passenger seat of a parked car on the 200 block of West Anaheim Street. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records, Bolanos was approached by a man who shot him multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:05 p.m.
