Raymond Sowell, a 24-year-old man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was shot and killed on May 26, 2012, in what police described as a drug-related incident. According to reports, six individuals were arrested in connection with the shooting, which occurred during an attempted robbery. It appears that the suspects went to Sowell's apartment intending to steal drugs and money. Evidence of a struggle was found, along with a significant amount of marijuana.
