In the late spring of 2012, the life of a young man, Raymond Louis Sowell, was cut tragically short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a 24-year-old male whose violent death left a void in the lives of those who knew him. On the morning of Saturday, May 26, 2012, a grim discovery was made on Brice Street, where Sowell's body was found. The cause of his untimely demise was determined to be from a gunshot wound.
