Ronnie Williams, a 25-year-old New Orleans Police Department officer, was fatally shot on March 4, 1995, during an armed robbery at the Kim Anh Vietnamese restaurant, where he was working an off-duty security shift. The perpetrators were his fellow police officer Antoinette Frank and her associate Rogers LaCaze. Both Frank and LaCaze entered the restaurant with the intention of robbing it, and during the crime, Williams, along with two restaurant employees, Ha and Cuong Vu, was murdered.
