Alberto Armenta-Sanchez, a 22-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on July 15, 2020, in Pomona, California. The incident occurred in the 300 block of East Phillips Boulevard, where he was found wounded from gunfire shortly before 11 p.m. on July 14. Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded to a call reporting the shooting and discovered Armenta-Sanchez in the street. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m. the following day.
