Barret Adin Slome, a 46-year-old attorney from Sherman Oaks, was tragically shot and killed in an oceanfront condominium in Laguna Beach, California, on July 28, 2020. The incident occurred at the Laguna Lido condominiums, where a resident reported hearing the sound of breaking glass followed by gunshots at approximately 5:19 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Slome with gunshot wounds in a second-floor unit.
