Lachandra Lewis, age 28, was killed on July 27, 2012, in a tragic shooting in the 7th Ward of New Orleans. The incident occurred in a home on Old Prieur Street, where Lachandra, along with her husband Kevin Lewis and mother-in-law Consuella Lewis, were found dead. The shooting was part of a violent weekend in New Orleans that left seven people dead, raising the homicide toll for the year to 120.
