Dan John Santiago, a 35-year-old Latino male, died on August 20, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. His death occurred in the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles, where he was found unresponsive in his cell with trauma to his upper torso. Despite efforts by medical staff and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel to save his life, Santiago succumbed to his injuries.
