On a late July morning in Baton Rouge, a planned robbery took a fatal turn, leaving one of the alleged perpetrators dead. Around 3 a.m. on July 26, 2023, 19-year-old Malik Clark was shot and killed along South River Road. Authorities believe that Clark, along with 19-year-old Raiyion Harris, had devised a plan to rob an individual. During the attempted robbery, the intended victim reportedly shot Clark, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
