Ernestine Breanna Thomas, a 21-year-old resident of Fresno, California, tragically lost her life on September 22, 2020. The incident occurred shortly after her fiancé, Michael Garcia, was acquitted of murder charges and released from Fresno County Jail. The couple was driving westbound on Highway 180 when their vehicle came under gunfire around 10 p.m. Thomas, who was driving, was found dead at the scene, while Garcia sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was hospitalized.
