On the evening of September 19, 2012, tragedy struck in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans when 25-year-old Lamar Walker, a male resident of the city, was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting. The incident also claimed the life of 25-year-old Garold Lewis and left an 18-year-old injured.
