On the night of December 10, 2020, Alex Otis, a 38-year-old resident of Richmond, California, was fatally shot following an argument at the Pullman Point Apartments. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the common area of the apartment complex. According to police reports, an argument between Otis and another individual escalated, leading to the shooting. Otis was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Richmond, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.
