Andrew Joseph Summerfield, a 20-year-old student from Inglewood, California, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2021. Summerfield, who was a promising student and athlete at Grand Canyon University, was shot multiple times at Darby Park in Inglewood. He had been working out at the Darby Park Gymnasium before the incident occurred. Despite efforts to save him, Summerfield succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
