Hakim Payton Kent, a 43-year-old man from Inglewood, California, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2020. The incident occurred in the 700 block of North La Brea Avenue, where officers from the Inglewood Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 6:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Kent lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
