Dolores Reyes, a 38-year-old resident of Tanglewood, CA, tragically lost her life on February 28, 2021. The incident occurred late Sunday night at her family home. According to reports, her husband, Eladio Herrera, a 63-year-old North County resident, was found sitting in his car in front of the house when sheriff’s deputies arrived. Herrera confessed to the deputies that he had shot his wife. Upon entering the residence, deputies discovered Reyes with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest.
Despite immediate life-saving efforts by the deputies and subsequent medical personnel, Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
