Josever Mariano, a 24-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on March 1, 2021, in Glassell Park, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Mariano was fatally shot near the 3000 block of Avenue 32. The incident occurred in the evening, and Mariano succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The community was left in shock and mourning, as Mariano was remembered as a loving and generous individual who was taken too soon.
