Ashley Brito, a 27-year-old resident of Thousand Palms, California, was found dead on March 31, 2021, at the City Center Motel in Indio, California. The Indio Police Department responded to a call at approximately 7:45 p.m. and discovered Brito's body with a gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding her death were immediately deemed suspicious, prompting a homicide investigation. The police quickly identified Carla Flores, a 30-year-old woman from Arizona, as the primary suspect in the case. ...
