In the late hours of a Friday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a burst of violence cut short the life of 46-year-old CJ Grisby Jr. On March 15, 2013, Grisby was shot and killed, leaving behind a community to grapple with the sudden loss. A resident of Baton Rouge and a self-employed truck driver, he was known to many by his nickname, 'Big Moon.' His death was officially reported the following day, Saturday, March 16, 2013.
