On a warm spring evening in New Orleans, just two days before she would have celebrated her 30th birthday, Kendrell 'Katt' Glover's life was tragically cut short. The 29-year-old African-American woman was walking home in her Algiers neighborhood on Friday, May 17, 2013, a little before 9 p.m., when a dark-colored Nissan Titan pickup truck approached her on the 1200 block of Horace Street.
