Eric Tyrone Dawson, a 37-year-old resident of Pomona, California, tragically lost his life on August 9, 2021. Dawson was found near the railroad tracks between Hamilton Boulevard and Newman Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Pomona Police Department responded to a "person down" call at approximately 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Dawson's lifeless body and pronounced him dead at the scene.
