On August 16, 2021, Tyree Xavier Scott, a 20-year-old resident of Sacramento, California, tragically lost his life in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred on Elsie Avenue near the intersection of Stockton Boulevard. Several drivers called 911 to report the shooting, which took place just after 6 p.m. Tyree was shot at seven times, with one fatal bullet striking him in the back of the head.
